The Peaceful Masters
God bless the peacemakers, full of love
and far from heart-breakers, who hope
to take the world to a higher elevation,
but, before that is done, they are killed--
mostly by assassination.
Mankind seems to hate those who love all of us.
Killing them off seems to be a must. They are killed in
the light of day, or night, because their message
tells the world of a better and peaceful way.
Those who love us all--the whole human race--
put their lives on the line to make the world
a better place. Very often, they leave their families
behind to give the world at large all their energy
and time.
These people who live for the good of all are
doing the work of a greater call. These people should
be loved or protected. Instead, they are being spied on,
persecuted and rejected. The common sense people
seem to hear their message--they are mostly those who
are lost or without hope.
People like Socrates, Jesus, Martin Luther King, and Kennedy
all died from the same kind of sad tragedy. Why is this
true? Why are these things done to those who have loved
you? Their message is always the same: let's love, be
happy, and have peace on Earth in God's name.
Why do we seem to be so blind about these prophets of time?
Their brilliance shines throughout the annals of history.
They are the ones to save us from the evil of humanity. Who are
the ones who come as a surprise and kill those people in
front of our eyes?
I don't know who they are or where they come from,
but I to would like to see their job done. So let me give
it one more try; I want to see peace on Earth, even if it means
I die. See, it's better to live doing good then to die doing
bad. For it would be the best life I could have ever had.
