The Path I Walk
This path exist with each new step
My clouded life made it hard to see
But as I chose a spot on the horizon
My path became clear to me
The path I walk is true; the path I walk is mine
The love I give is freedom; the love I want is time…. With You
I will never veer for promises
I have seen through their deceit
I will stay with my friend patience
While persistence has the lead
The path I walk is true; the path I walk is mine
The love I give is freedom; the love I want is time…. With You
Every path exists with each new step
The direction is yours alone
I’m happy that our paths have crossed
I’m sad that now you’re gone
I finally found some happiness
But our paths are not the same
As I continue on my journey
I wish you well
The path I walk is true; the path I walk is mine
True love is giving freedom
With a hope
(That maybe someday)
Our paths will intertwine
Again!
