The Park
In a secluded park full of benches
A boardwalk in the bushes isn't far
It takes me into the wilderness
Where quiet spaces are found
I remember you singing
I fell in love with your familiar voice
Soothing me with the soft wind
Comfort I needed, as if you returned
As daisies swayed and birds sang too
We found our beautiful song again
To wipe away old tears
Hold each other with no fears
Sweet reminders now sealed
In a park that is yours and mine
Quiet places of understanding
- Only we can find -
