The Mysterious House

The tall and crippled old man,
lived in a mysterious old house.
Many said the two went together,
like pasta and tomato sauce.
He left his mysterious home by car,
and only in the early mornings.
What is his name ~ where did he come from?
The mysterious house held secrets.

He would Not talk to anyone. Everyone called him a hermit. Yes, he was a very mysterious man/neighbor that lived a couple of houses from us. There were many unanswered questions about him. It was fun to write. Have a wonderful day writing away a tale or story................

I really like the style Paula that asks questions and leaves things up to the reader's imagination. It's a great way to engage readers with your work and leave them asking for more.. Even more so when I read in your comments that it is loosely based on a one time neighbour of yours. Cheers - Gary

He would Not talk to anyone. The neighbors did Not know him. Everyone called him a hermit. Yes, he was a very mysterious neighbor that lived a couple of houses from us. We would walk/ride bikes on the street but Never went on his yard. His yard was a Big No. This was fun to write. Cheers to you for a wonderful weekend. Curious tale indeed, my friend. When I was young, there was an old man that lived down the street. He would leave his house every morning at the same time and idle his car all the way to the next town and back again. As far as I know, he never stopped anywhere except to put gas in his car.
