The Muse Visits
After watching
television
and after eating a sandwich
and chips
I take out my note pad
Write another poem
All of you out there in the
darkness
Know what I am feeling
When the muse
comes for a visit
She must be telling us something
important
The angel of
creativity
Spreads her wings
and will have her say
There is no fighting it
The muse has come to stay
