The Most Overused Word On the Planet
In this world of deceit
and debauchery,
where politeness is the window
of it’s obnoxious system.
Where to succeed
is deemed worthy
and to be Sorry
puts anything to right
In this world of stress
and blind injustice,
where violence reigns supreme
in minds of back alleys.
Where tears fall like rain
souls hurt in eternal pain
and to be Sorry
puts everything to right.
In this world of control
and instigation,
where profit inspired subtle regime
create a warring phenomenon.
Where to calculate casualties
of the nations mothers sons
and to be Sorry
puts everything to right.
In this world of media flare
created heroes of distraction,
a shinning example of correctness
upon the screen of contempt.
Resorts to snort, one could call a habit?
Till caught
and to be Sorry
puts everything to right.
In this world without conscience
a simple word suffice,
free as in corporate promise
free in its composed hardship,
free in your face condescending
free in scripts of insincerity
free in the chapel of rest
and to be Sorry--------------!
