The Moon Slipped On a Mask
The moon winked at me
Then slipped on a mask
'Twas baby blue, so easy to see
Startled, I said, 'I've a question to ask'
'Be my guest,' said the moon
His response muffled a bit
'O.K.,' replied I; 'I'll ask it real soon
Just one thing first, 'cos I don't get it
I feel that the man in the moon is hiding somewhere
Tell him COVID's down here ~ not yet up there!'
