The Moon Embrace
The day filled with the sun’s splendor
Avoids the qualms of the night’s folly
You’d think the moon only comes out
When darkness escapes the realms
Of the true repose of the evening’s glow
By the light of the moon exposed at night
But exceptions so exist, the find of the day
The moon spills out its glory, even in light
Of the afternoon’s harmonious hours
Its grace befalls all who seek its embrace
And the enlightening sends hearts in awe
Embraced upon the showers of the facet
Of the moon’s powerful influence on me
