Pope Francis decries critics of church as 'friends of the devil' | Pope Francis | The Guardian

Pray, why? Scrape them off The "little" people - your sheep Pied paupers of your parochial perspectives Mud off a work boot, scraped on the sill Washed cowardly clean by countless tears The veiled weep of mothers, the ache of their empty wombs Shrouded for shamelessness' sake, the greater, holy good Brushed with conscience under the rug of reputation Pray, what horns do skull caps hide these days? What more heinous evil than that which wears the mask of God? A sacred, divine trust, centuries built Sullied for sordid saints and their horrid piety The wee ones, the priceless, pure and precious ones Fed with good faith to fawning fiends Robed and collared monsters with a shepherd's hook Meant to stoke their rapacious hunger for the innocent Behind a smile, a good deed, and a cross ... Pray, who IS ... your God? ~ Honorable Mention ~ in the "Black Sheep" Poetry Contest, Anthony Slausin, Judge & Sponsor. (For all those abused by people in places of authority and sacred trust)

This is what happens when systems are set up by Fallen Angels in Churches to procure their own 'safety' from accountability and to allow them to further propagate their vile crimes against the holy innocents. Jesus said, 'let the little children come unto me'. Well, these Wolves in Sheep's Clothing have proved themselves unworthy of that call. An honest invective, full of difficult and necessary images.

(2) ... and they flocked to the church for that reason alone, not the true pursuit of God. It will be difficult for the Vatican to survive it, (though their extraordinary wealth will help, I'm sure), especially if statutes of limitations are done away with as they should be. Blessings, My Friend.

Thank you so much, Andrew, for this very honest, hard-hitting, and insightful comment ... I totally agree. It's quite stunning to me just how far this goes - how deep this rabbit hole went before it reached the light of day. It's almost as if it was common knowledge among perverted priests that this veil of protection had been created just for them ...

Great alliteration Greg, the answer to your question is in John 8:44. They are the worst- those who claim to serve God (even represent him) and then prey (not pray) on the young and inexperienced. Horns hiding under skull caps indeed!

Thank you so much, John ... I feel these pieces are (our) most important, yet, for me at least, I rarely get comments on anything that takes on tough subjects or controversy. Christ had a very special relationship with children, (Matthew 19:14), and that those representing him could abuse them in His name, is the worst of the worst, IMO.
