The Moment Before Release
Just before release comes a surge of adrenaline
A high that accompanies the accomplishment
In some cases, that moment can harbor clues
As to what the perpetrator of the action meant.
Amazing the impact of a single, solitary moment
Just before release comes a surge of adrenaline
It’s as though one actually loses consciousness
Will the act bring remorse, or will it be okay then?
It’s said hindsight is better than foresight, fine,
In analyzing, this is true, but thinking before doing
Just before release comes a surge of adrenaline
Knowing the results beforehand is worth pursuing.
The moment in question is often rather elusive
Just where shall the blame be placed? Is it mine?
Mother Nature seems to have made it conducive
Just before release comes a surge of adrenaline.
