The Meaning of Bliss

If I could stay but one more day, I'd dedicate that time to play. And getting to know you once more, we would fall in love like before. I would start with a simple smile, and we'd sit and talk for a while. And then perhaps we'd laugh again without all the anger and pain. I'd tell you what is in my heart and how I loved you from the start. And to help mend what I've broken, muted feelings would get spoken. Snuggling close, I would hold your hand, assuring you I understand. And surrender my heart to you, swearing my love's always been true. I'd spend our last day together, wishing it could last forever. And sharing a passionate kiss, I'd show you the meaning of bliss. (Rhyme) 10/23/2017
