The Lord brings people to the light, Calling them to obey His will; He makes them heirs of pure delight, Keeping them far from the devil. The Lord God brightens up the way Of those whose eyes grope in the dark; Those who are tricked and gone astray Have found the right path in full spark. Those who are not inside the fold Are blinded by deceitful lies; The Father's truth that He has told Opens their heart, soul, mind, and eyes. The words of God are crystal clear, They are as bright as a beacon; They are highly pleasing to hear, Promising a sure redemption The wicked are urged to get out Of the clutch of the sinful night; To erase the false faith and doubt, The Lord brings people to the light.
