The Little Palm Reader
The little palm reader is optimistic.
She has her sign ready.
Fortunes told here
Twenty-five cents.
We drive by a couple of times.
Then we stop.
She is overjoyed with a quarter.
You are going to be rich she tells me.
And you will be famous, she tells my sister.
Best fifty cents we have spent in a long time.
