Delicious light settles on the air
In the whisper of silence
Prayers blended with care
Winds of compassion, graceful
Hoping for a moment
Alive with dreams, insight
Into the heartfelt laughter
Coloring hearts with dancing
Love that lasts through
Promises and feelings, emotions
Concealing the need for kindness
That rises to the skies
Stardust caressing the spirit
Who leaves trembling years
Without sorrow or fear
Only a humble vision
Filled with recognition
There are many who know
God is here, where we go
When we need to see the light
The light that enlivens
Survives and thrives on the night
In rays of blessedness
Inspiration and faith filled trust
In the One who gave life
To be lived with grace and prayer
Feelings aware that today
There is the second chance
Freedom grasped and caressed
With the salvation gained
Through faith in the One who created
The heart, the soul, the mind
Eternity and time
Everything is by God’s design
And I walk in hope toward the light
That pierces the darkest night
The light that fills hearts
With a spark of the love that lasts
Love that is inspired and real
Love that is God’s gift to us
Love that is given without conditions
Love that is burning with His light
A light that fills my thoughts
With a bright, vibrant hope
Light that fills me up
With a peace that is still and calm
Lingering to erase all that’s wrong
Encouraging me to reach out
To those who sing a song of praise
And worship Him for who He is
The King of Kings, the Redeemer
This Jesus is the reason for believing
I believe Him… and agree with Him
For eternity, I’ll worship Him
Forever, I’ll be blessed to be
Beside the King who lived and died
To shine His light into a cold, dark world
Where I needed to feel the warmth
Of His love, His light, His grace
He is my everything! Praise His Holy Name!
