The lens from which I see
It's like looking in a mirror
The actions all familiar
The hands shaking
The knees almost buckling
Like a scene from a movie
That hits too close to home
Seeing it in a different light
Makes for an interesting perspective
From this view
Looking a bit ridiculous
Making me wonder
Are my feelings overrated
Is it all really a ploy
For attention
For acception
I can't help how I feel
Though I try to
I try to hide it away
To not make it affect my day
But when it's all so clear
To me
And to them
It feels burdening
Like its all I am
Like there's nothing I can do
To change it all
For them and for me
When I see it all
From a different view
When it's not from me
But it's all from you
I can't help but hide it away
My anxiety
It hurts me
But it hurts you too
