The Language of Love
can’t convince the heifer
to become a cow
to deliver milk
and how
to give birth somehow
to decipher the language of love
to see God in all things
below and above
without a ring, without a beau
she wants to run
far far away
but God will not shun her
if she decides to stay
somehow she will deliver
the most precious gift
for God is quite the giver
the promised land is full
of milk and honey
God’s mercy and grace more precious than money
our mercy and grace, in His hands,
all powerful. stay.
