Cascading Roar

A roaring cascade drowns out tears Of a sorrowful earth bountiful yet pillaged Plagued with malicious exploitation From unscrupulous godless tyrants Nature resonates with spiritual allegiance Of sacred native rites and rituals Worshiping chants to mother earth From devout players in the cycle of life The land its animals and all life forms Drumming in tune with earth’s heartbeat Strive to resonate in synchronized rhythm Harmoniously reverent their pulse as one AP: 3rd place 202 Submitted on October 15, 2020 for contest COMPLETELY YOUR CHOICE (27) sponsored by BRIAN STRAND Originally posted on May 2, 2018

I see from this poem that you are either a drummer or you should be a drummer. I want to run through the woods drumming and chanting after reading this poem.
