The Invitation
He sent me an invitation
Come; come to him and dine
Oh the joy that was mine
As I entered into his presence
Beholding his lovely face
Hearing him invite me
To sit a spell; just stay
Oh! the hours we are
Together; pass so swiftly away
I come away rejoicing
A new contenance on my face
This is something I cannot share
It is just for us two
Entering into his presence
He and I alone can do
(I started at 8:49 and ended at 8:58 with corrections.)
