I enjoy opening my window before sunrise each morning to hear those sounds tumbling in to me. No horns or human voices.

Lucky you getting those birds still, maybe I need to get up earlier... I seem to be awaking to silence... or maybe i should open the window lol... Or maybe the birds in my garden are silent just like my pen name.. raining heavily this morning.. hope it is better over there..

I have run 5 - (there was drama around 1st one) show don't tell, tell don't show - two versions of same haiku, ekphrasis on Munch, Van Gogh Monoku, short - 4 word meaningful poem and teach me a lesson - rewrite my draft free verse poem....

You may have a point there, it is pretty new double glazing.. I think you solved the mystery.. I have written about windows and probably done a prompt in the past.. maybe on Insta.. Have you thought about doing a contest?

Ahh no rain, plenty of birds - you've probably got exquisite double glazing - a poetic prompt I bet you've not used yet :)
