She knew that time had drawn in on her. Those few minutes of space and time enclosed and warped around her. He would think she was an illusion but he would never ever believe the truth.
Better to think it was an illusion than the harsh reality of the truth. She hoped she would be able to keep returning to this place and time and maybe one day explain what they were to one another. Would he believe a time traveler. No it was better to let him think it was a trick of the mind.
9.
He stood feeling the loss. Did he not see what he thought he saw. Did she just disappear again. His only hope was that she would return many times and maybe the next time he would find the words to speak.
