I like trekking through the woods in the Fall;
it's a wonderful way to relieve stress.
The crunch of leaves, or a scolding crow's call,
signals that Summer's time is in recess.
As a child, I'd romp through the woods near home,
always exploring Nature’s hidden trails.
And rather than stay put, I'd often roam,
chasing down local stories and tall tails.
Serene and natural, Nature lures me
with Her quietude and unique places.
And though Autumn colors are a must-see,
Fall is but one of Her many faces.
Nature's beauty surpasses any book;
if you wish to see it, you'll have to look.
