The Heart of a Poet : Speaks ( Part 1 )

Hello , POETS and POETESSES : as my host would say
I have been asked to speak in his stead take it as you may
Like many other Hearts I have known infatuation and Love
Of course I know only of my host’s Love, blessed by God above

I remember his eyes first beheld Her auburn hair, emerald eyes
I leapt, fluttered uncontrollably I never felt warmer : Closer to YOU
Every time my host even thought about LENORE ( LOVE at Sunrise?)
I would receive a Heavenly shower Of Blessings and Glory LOVE YOU

When it was time to write a POEM for his Beloved LENORE “I raced”
I learned to speak to my host : suggestions Clarity he would listen to me
And I would take the LOVE of his POEMS and bury it deep within my Soul
Using Love as nourishment , strength, the Knowledge of ETERNAL LOVE

The most Wonderful Day I Eternally Remember : August 25, 1971
The day my host Married his Dearest Most Only Beloved “ L E N O R E “
I was up early Beating in a panicky, Frantically, Sort a way: I’ve never done
It was a Beautiful day in the Blue Carribean Sky mirrors ocean mirrors Sky

Author's Note : This could be a four part POEM or it can end here I will ask for YOUR
Comments to decide Beating for YOU :A POET'S HEART

"I would take the LOVE of his POEMS and bury it deep within my Soul Using Love as nourishment , strength, the Knowledge of ETERNAL LOVE" I love those words. you understand the genuine feeling of forever love.and you were able to feel the deep depths of it. Your love for Lenore is "so precious". and i see in your poem that her presence is still with you. watching all that you do & waiting on you. I believe i want to read the rest of your gentle love write. -Always&Forever Lynette

HG this is a quite a unique write, very well written, Lenore seems to be a beloved wife of the outer manifestation. But she is also much more than that, she is also an expression of a part of the inner self of the man himself. The beloved part of the man, that she was before God separated her from the man, as when God took the rib of Adam and made Eve. There has to be a marrage of the two parts again, before humanity can be made whole again. The mind, the soul, and the heart. Sincerely, Moses

I am rather new to this site so I may not know where you are coming from with this, I understand the love written, but it seems I am missing out on the full story. "Lenore" takes me back to Poes' "Raven" may not be, look forward to see what comes next. Judy Riley

HGarvey - Being a firm believer in true love and the beauty it brings to life I most certainly think that the expression of love should be cherished and nurtured as often as the sun rises and it sets - Write on my friend for there is no greater poetic inspiration than that of a heart in love - God Bless you and those who share your heart my friend - MJ
