The Hand of World's Child
from the lap
gentle and protective lap of mother
from the cradle
careful swinging cradle
the hand makes this world amazingly
the hand builds this universe wonderfully
this child is now-
the maker, the savior, the destroyer
the re-maker, the re-builder
the time brings this COSMOS
and discovers it newly
