The Hand of Fate

Crushed under the hand of fate, misery found me today. For I heard your final sigh, and knew you had passed away. Remembered memories morphed into long-forgotten fears. And faith began to flounder in a sea of fallen tears. When something felt out of place, suspicions began to rise. And yet, ignoring the truth, I never said my goodbyes. Death has taken you from me, and my world's falling apart. For I don't know what to do or, even worse, where to start.
