The Godhead
Oh, let the citadel of freedom rise
from brash Poseidon’s embryonic sea,
rise writhing on the waves of discontent.
Oh, rip, the fluid surface of man’s soul free.
Oh, fill the listless heart of earth's psyche,
call Amphitrite, nymph wife, goddess of the sea
from their love’s embrace will rise a pinnacle
Oh, new home of justice and liberty.
Oh, see the Dove fly over all with grace
for He most High wishes all his people free.
Oh, laud the principles of Republic
from the Atlantic to the Pacific sea.
