The Godhead

Oh, let the citadel of freedom rise from brash Poseidon’s embryonic sea, rise writhing on the waves of discontent. Oh, rip, the fluid surface of man’s soul free. Oh, fill the listless heart of earth's psyche, call Amphitrite, nymph wife, goddess of the sea from their love’s embrace will rise a pinnacle Oh, new home of justice and liberty. Oh, see the Dove fly over all with grace for He most High wishes all his people free. Oh, laud the principles of Republic from the Atlantic to the Pacific sea.

Thankxxx TEACH for the great comment.. this Pantoum is like the Sestina only shorter and with only three repeated lines because of its shortness.. the example under poetry forms shows it all in one but some poets like Andrea break it up into stanzas... whats your take? luv.. pupil..

DEB, you are gonna do really well with this one. You are different from me in many ways poetically. That is why I would totally expect you to rock when writing a poem based on that picture. My personality cannot even attempt it. This is awesome! LUv, andrea
