The Girl and Her Moon
The girl looks to the moon and wonders, not for the first time, 'How do you deal with the loneliness that comes when the sun leaves?'
In the silence, the girl swears that she sees the moon grow a shade brighter.
'Darling,' the shadows whisper back. 'what do you mean? I am not alone; you see, the sun sets and billions of her stars emerge. What is this loneliness that you speak of?'
