The Gift
You have enough love for me to fill a shopping cart.
It’s always nice to know I have a place in your heart.
This is a commodity that has no reasonable price.
Returning your affection is always nice.
My love for you will melt away any winter’s ice.
You love me not just during the holidays,
Your love for me will last for always.
Wonderful you need not ever roam.
With me, you will always have a home.
The only gift I want for Christmas this year
is to make sure I will always have you near.
