The Freaky Monster Party

They had gathered at a spooky castle,
The moon was full and bright,
Located on the Scottish moor
The party started late at night.

The werewolf was there
With his hair done out with gell,
Lochy arrived in his scale-mobile,
His green outfit looked so swell.

Vampires from Transylvania
Sat in the corner drinking blood,
The Yetie and the Yowie
Were dancing with a thud.

The Tasmanian Devil was screaming
As he did a loop-de-loop,
His dancing really out of hand
As he landed in Sasquatch's soup.

The monster music suddenly stopped,
Everyone stood and looked in awe,
You see it was the party host,
The Headless Ghost from County Core.

"Do not stop for me my friends,
Fun you're having I can see,
But if you spot a head that looks quite dead
Kindly return it here to me."

You would be awesome at children's stories, John. Would love to see you publish one. I would buy it for sure. A lot of thought and pattern went in to this one....Sharon G.

Yes Lindsay, Having a bit of fun with young children is always a giggle, but don't scare them too much, I will feel guilty. Thanks again Lindsay for reading my poem.
