The moon is peeking o'er the blushing reach Hung low to splash the skies with Milky Way Each beam it softly weaves upon this beach Finds me deep in the throes of love's decay I never knew how hot your embers burned Red glowing as our epic stars were crossed Each flame igniting as our passion churned Realizing, not, until those dreams were lost Above me now, soar vaults of twilight blue Glib witness to these lonely dunes that bind Each tender moment here I spent with you Set fresh ablaze as love and limbs entwined Oh, never will these ghosts of you be gone Not while the fire called "You" still rages on. ~ 1st Place ~ in the "Pick A Title, Volume 8 - Acrostic" Poetry Contest, Edward Ibeh, Judge & Sponsor.

Acrostic's don't need to rhyme, but you have put in the extra time to make yours rhyme Greg. Poet's here at PS have elevated this form to a greater length and have made them rhyme. Yours is lovely Greg! Congratulations on your deserving first place! : ) xxoo
