The Fire Dance

Wishing for the light to glow when it’s burning low, Took it granted whilst it breathed and moaned. Could have kept it bright with a little fright, How am I to blame, the wind had far less shame. Is it the warmth I miss, or your colorful fingertips? Or just the eyes I know will now cease to exist. I wish to see your final swansong ablaze, Just once before you are finally unfazed.
