The Final Say
The world may seem to be going mad
Family units fading fast
Children lost
Good values tossed
The Golden Rule a corny joke
Idols abound have us in a choke
Yet, in spite of this, I still believe
My God will have the final say
When wars and storms sweep across the earth
When leaders in denial disregard the Hour
Perhaps, the last, to take a stand
To right the wrongs of history grand
And re enact laws to seal the crack
Strong winds on the horizon already on track
Yet, in spite of this, I still believe
My God will have the final say
So let the politicians argue
“I’m right!” “No, you’re wrong!”
Let the death merchants chant,
“It’s not a child”…”Not a child!”
Our years like pages torn from a book
A’ blowing away like dust in the wind
Gone forever into eternity
Yet, in spite of all this, I still believe
My God will have the final say
