The Father
he'd remember my name
he'd say it over and over again
following me to uncharted places
he'd face my haunting demons
my triumph's my victories
he'd be there just as
he always had it's quite
different reaching deep inside
his tombstone seeking advise
from his soul on earthly lessons
solace of the broken hearted
hurtful shadows an yet still
he rest his hand on my shoulders
saying I will never leave you
my darling daughter
