The Eyes Have It
Your eyes bring forth summers rain
That cools my heart on lovers plain
Emerald eyes of crystalline spheres
Missing you brings cascading tears
Your eyes bring forth the love within
My heart jumps out and heads in spin
Your eyes penetrate my very being
Sensual shapes of seductive seeing
Your enchanted eyes of life’s mystery
An enigma smile staring back at me
In your eyes my weakened soul
Surrendering servant of love you stole
And now your eyes slowly close
Sleep my love on petals rose.
