'Learning By Doing' Revisited | Kathy Magrino, The Write Way, LLC

Teach them how to discern and learn, Don’t leave them helpless to crash and burn. Teaching them just content, they learn it your way. Teach them the process of learning today, You give them a lifetime of learning every day.

you did exactly that when you coached and taught, Bill...the process was way more important to you and I than the knowledge we shared with our students...and we created an attitude of lifelong learning and growth. Hats off to you for these insightful words....you eastside writing bear!

We never stop learning, there's always something new to gain by opening our minds. They say you learn something new every day. Knowledge makes for a better person. Tom

I agree, Tom, I'm still learning new things all the time. Some of them from the poetry I read. LOL I want to keep my mind works well as long as I can. The only reason I would want to die is if I could think straight anymore. The physical things I believe I can deal with as long as my mind is stronger. I hope your rehab is still going well, my friend. Bill

I just think know how to process new information and learn to use it, is more important than plain content for testing purposes. Thanks for your comments on so many of my poems, Belle. I appreciate your time and effort to support my poetry, my friend. Hugs, Bill
