Accidentally I stumbled on the hidden pool, I saw her there among the sedge, so lovely and cool, "Come swim with me," she smiled in an angelic way. Euphorically my heart beat fast with radiant sway. How fast I swam towards that heavenly vision, Only to see her vanish in a colourful prism.

Maybe it wasn't a mirage at all. Perhaps it was she stopping by to say hello :)

Sailors were told to pay attention to detail and 'don't be distracted by Circe thoughts' :D It sounds delightful that the female divinity appeared. Hope she returns! An allegorical whimsy yarn, which begs to be continued!

Oh my, this was such a breathtaking and captivating read.. The way you created an angelic and magical imagery with subtly glowing flow.. Only to give it the twist of sombre depth in the end.. I absolutely love the way how artistically the ending lines have been woven "how fast I swam towards that heavenly vision, only to see her vanish in a colorful prism" There's so much vividness in this line, whilst being so delicately hued.. Such a brilliant write

Ahh, a nymph mirage. Hallucination? Reminds me a bit of the Will O The Wisp legend. In any case, great stuff Victor

That ending got me my friend. You very fine poetry always has that special splash to it. This to me is indeed superbly crafted poetry. I could see the scene so well and the ending a great artist's mind gave us was fantastic. To have a ravenous beauty and find that it was a mirage! A true gem and a fav for me. God bless you.

Whoa, that ending, this is so moving and touching, how one sees something that isnt there, depicts the longing so very vividly. Especially “ how fast i swam towards that heavenly vision “ this is one of those poems that made me “ sigh” loved it. Very evocative
