Maybe it wasn't a mirage at all. Perhaps it was she stopping by to say hello :)

Sailors were told to pay attention to detail and 'don't be distracted by Circe thoughts' :D It sounds delightful that the female divinity appeared. Hope she returns! An allegorical whimsy yarn, which begs to be continued!

Oh my, this was such a breathtaking and captivating read.. The way you created an angelic and magical imagery with subtly glowing flow.. Only to give it the twist of sombre depth in the end.. That ending got me my friend. You very fine poetry always has that special splash to it. This to me is indeed superbly crafted poetry.
