The Do-Over Perfectionist: OCD

If her prayers were not perfect, Aunt Jen
would repeat them again and again.
Christmas cravings on hold
and our food growing cold,
we were dying to get to “Amen.”

You had me scratching my head with the rhyme "again" - researching it, I found that in certain British dialect it is pronounced "uh-GEN" (rhyming with "men" = "Jen"). :-)

Haha! I am from Iowa. They named this the state of standard American English! But one unusual thing is pronouncing Wash as Wosh. I stopped doing that one after I moved west!

Wow. Thanks for that win. Most Americans I know say again like a rhyme with Jen! For me it would be weird to say it like gain? Is it that way in south Africa?

Stuff that bird..Er turkey..i mean i hope You got good portions, and the knife Cut clean.? Do you have baked potatoes? Not the jacket though kind.' Then get out for a walk, from house Confines.?
