a metaphor-
for the end of civilization
the doomsday clock is ticking
closer to midnight
two minutes till the end of humanity
the doomsday clock is ticking-
ticking to irrevocable harm to the world
a grab bag of threats that is growing
threat of global war
climate change destruction
artificial intelligence
the list goes on and on
two minutes till the end of humanity
the doomsday clock is ticking-
the world is vulnerable the scientists say so
they have been watching for years
we are in trouble real trouble
and I doubt anything can change our destiny
we must be ready
in our souls to meet the END
I say- live for today
cherish all the beauty in the world
hold it close to your heart
two minutes till the end of humanity
the doomsday clock is ticking-
is that all it would take to end it
our world to become a speck of dust
is this our new reality
we are too late
all our worries and sorrows will be gone
things have been set in motion
two minutes till the end of humanity
the doomsday clock is ticking-
