The Different Shades of Blue
"Sometimes it's the hurt heart's ache
that helps us, pain's chains to break"
When your heart gets broken
And there's pain unspoken,
You're no more her chosen
And your soul's just frozen,
You're hardly now sleepin',
Your eyes are a weepin',
The tears are a leakin'
And the blues are a creepin',
There's nothing left more to lose...
You give in to choking blues...
This heartache will get you through
"The different shades of blue"...
You rend your shattered heart,
Within, you're torn apart,
The days and nights are dark,
You've lost your happy spark,
Your face has lost its sheen,
Never before you've been
Melancholic or mean,
Your raw emotions seen,
There's nothing left more to lose...
