The Depths of Red

Night unfolds, her arms around me The killing choke of loneliness... The silent breeze of longing, easily escapes the high solid walls of a tormented heart. And why do I ask for something I can never have? The sight of beauty, it deceives me. A moment of happiness turns to agony. Please, slap me back to my reality. I am free to speak whenever I am away. Free to dance to the music of one's desires. Every single night I fight a losing battle within... And when the storm clears, only the remnants of my painful past remains. Feed me with my own lies! "She is my queen and I am her king." I know i am losing my sanity! I learned to breathe this deadly air, just for a moment... to be with you... I have risked eternity. Beg for a new day. To wake up one day, a different man with a different heart. A heart that doesn't screams your name. A heart that doesn't bleed for no one. A numb, solid heart, to feel no more. To wake up one day, and never knew love. To spare me the pain of not having you... Tomorrow, I will die once more.
