The Death of Truth - Question Mark
I’ll not allow that friendship dies
(Though it may wane from time to time)
Or passion thrive on soulless lies
Or love blossom from lifeless rhyme!
For truth will out, survive it all,
The outcome cannot be in doubt,
Though legends tell about its fall,
And hell itself predict its rout!
For truth is born in spark so deep
That God’s own heart attends its light,
And after flesh finds its last sleep,
Immortal soul guards its delight.
Yes, all of heaven’s stars will fail,
Death lose its grip, Satan his fun,
Time miss its tick, future its veil,
But God and truth will still be one.
