When Sunset appears and night falls My shadow will disappear Death will take my shadow away We have walked through life together From birth until death it has always been with me We have made the same mistakes We have loved together This, My Shadow and me The old one has succumb and now gone Replacing the old with the new each day Yet some only see the old one still following me They only see the shadows of yesterday The old shadow is gone and the new one is new A new day has begun, with My new shadow and me
