The Daydream Meadow

There is a meadow Where Wildflowers bloom A small brook flows through it There one's heart stays in tune As a child one's spirit Returns to freedom running, skip, jump Pick the Wildflowers Rest at will or lie down A tree grows there Which has fruit of any kind Just reach up and touch__ Pick_which flavor or color appeal There's always time to play Relax stay for a day This magical place of childhood Where I go many times to stay

Sara, you have a beautiful way of expressing yourself, very poetic, and t/y for your comment. I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful husband worthy of a poem! :)

This is very peaceful, SAra. Is it an actual meadow you go to now that you are an adult too? Luv, Andrea

Wonderful, the greatest thing about reading is stumbling upon a set of words that feel a thought has been plucked out of your head and made into beautiful words by someone else in a different time and place. The Daydream Meadow, truly the place to be.

Dear Sara, your experiences here remind me much of my own in "Into the Weeds." Those were such happy days and truly a place I return to often in my memories. Very nicely penned! Love, Carolyn
