~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The cross stands high, a solemn sight, a symbol of sacrifice, of eternal light. On Easter, we remember, the love so grand, a gift to all, from a gracious hand.

[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. May, this Spirit that raised Christ,roll away the Stony hearts of mankind,and shine in the light to cast out darkness within and reveal this darkness around us, to purify One into A Child of the Living God: )

What a beautiful expression of your faith, Sara! The miracle of the cross is indeed "solemn" as this instrument of cruelty was transformed by "sacrifice" and eternal "love." Beautiful couplets that bring the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ to our thoughts. He died on the cross to redeem mankind. His sacrifice leads to our resurrection.
