The Creature
Was in the kitchen
Heard water dripping
Wish I didn't hear it
That's when I saw
The creature living under the sink
Shook in terror
As I heard the rumor
Look into its face
U'll be dead
Inch by inch it raised its read
Creepy smile coming into view
Blood flowing underneath the skull
Skin peeled
I was scared,tears rushing
It came closer
It's breath was calm
It held me in the way I needed
Held me till I was fine
Till my breathing calmed
Looked at me
saw its smile
Made me smile
Then I knew
We weren't so different after all
I held its face
Till it found comfort in me like I did
Before I knew
The sun was hurrying up
It let me go waved at me
Then I walked away
Hoping to meet the creature again
