how stately is this covered bridge with a weathered and worn facade a winding road that passes through and a slow stream view as you promenade now cracked and split with rusted bolts the price of age to its sturdy beams reflections on water to catch the eye where two in love tossed pennies for their dreams it stands in contrast to the Autumn leaves a gray aged skin against colors bright to haunt the memory of days gone by when it was needed for time's respite time will pass, this bridge will fall pictures kept, remind of memories lost as all things that have come before through passing years, we'll measure the cost 8/18/17 contest Covered Bridge

so lovely. I really want to do a poem too but knowing he likes really different stuff, I may be overthinking the whole thing. Maybe I should just go the scenic route as you so beautifully did.

Frederic, oh my word, I think you just entered a photo of a bridge, very close to my home. I will go take a photo of it and possibly put it in here one day, but it looks like the one. Although, when I upload photos lately, they are not staying showing. I love your poem with this. I will have to save it as another FAV.
