Listen to poem:
his body shutting down the sequence activated his vitality a distant memory the notion of time imploding nothing existing outside this suspended realm of surreal animation in and out his breath the metronome in awkward rhythm counting moments left wondering if he has one last I love you left in him or if he’s simply spent and given us his all time standing still with bated breath helpless we hold his hand on the last trek of his journey AP: Honorable Mention 2021 Posted on February 22, 2021

Sad experience to lose a loved one. The last goodbye in this life is not an easy one. Very expressive and emotive work. Your presence at my page was encouraging. Sara

The third verse especially poignant, dear Line! My grandma’s last love you was a tear that rolled from her eye, passed down like a game of telephone to all of us who loved her. Hugging you from here <3
