Young afraid heard tales told
Boarded upon ships
Not in search of gold
Far from family home
Life of drudgery
Mary Bryant
Daring lady
She escaped
Facing dangers
New life hers
Soon found out
Sent back home
Famous
Was she
Pardoned
(Loosely based on the story of Mary Bryant who was in prison in Whales and sent to
Australia to serve out her sentence.)
