Choosing me Silenced the past with mercy, you showed me the meaning of absolution, the compassion, the truth secreted just beyond Your grace Singing praises Isn’t even the adoration You deserve the faith Prayer of hope, Guiding me through The darkness, reflecting The meaning of grace The praise invites my heart To love unconditionally With a love that only You Could have stirred Choosing me Coloring me in light Your life’s fire, the passion The peace and glory You brought, with Your Sacrifice You stirred My heart to fight for life Choosing me, You Smiled stillness that Completes, redeems, reminds Me that Your love is eternally With me, always saving Me from the demons that Hope to dissuade the faith You created in me faith that silences every doubt skeptics breath to dissuade me from the truth – YOU are the answer to my every need, my every dream – You are the reality that occurs to me when I seek the eternal, the everlasting – I believe because you chose me John 15:16 (KJV) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
