Failed COVID policies dumped in dust, At long last Chinese bubble has burst, Sure, we reap what we sow, And pay all debt we owe, For, chickens always come home to roost! ______________________________________ Happenings |19.12.2022| Limerick Poet’s note: Chinese COVID policy has been a disaster. The bubble, held precariously, now seems to have burst. Not satisfied having given the virus to the world, they rather felt cockish at their policies though their anti viral vaccines and other remedies were as dud as their policies like zero tolerance. At last their chickens seem to have come home to roost, as this ditty says.
