The Chief
A man... chosen among many,
to do the right thing,
in the face of evil,
when others may or may not follow.
Bravery is not measured by the people,
it is measured by the heart,
and the beats of men,
that carry drums...
and go willingly,
if unwilling...
to war.
They protect the weak,
and keep the meek safe.
They ride into the night,
in the shadow of darkness,
or sail into the light...
always eyes open.
Fear is not among those...
that sit...
in the house of logs and skin.
No.
"It" is too afraid,
to go there,
as "It" knows...
"It", will be defeated,
by eagles...
and wolves!

Blood Moutain by A. Foster
